This is the last instalment I have for you on the Custom Cutting System. I’m sure Creative Memories will bring something similar to these at some stage, these are older ones I had when I first started with Creative Memories some years ago.
Anyway, here are the examples that I found, I had made them some time ago, when I had to make a card that was not square, circle or rectangle. Enjoy and thanks for reading.
Hello there, today I have a card and a fold for you, both of which I worked on last week and weekend just gone. I hope you like them, the card and the medallions are made using a variety of papers purchased at various places and times. However, I will mention the ones I do know.
The card today is one made for a challenge at the Splitcoaststampers.com for last week. It does not have a stamp on it but merely uses punches and brad from Kaszazz, the main patterned paper is from a 12×12 pad from Aldi, I think I received it as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago. The two smaller triangles are made with one double-sided paper – one side the green stripes and the other with the “postage stamp” image, unfortunately I cannot remember the brand, but I do remember purchasing it at a craft store in Ballarat, Victoria a few years ago.
Well, now you know all about the card and medallions so here are the pictures. The last photo shows the smaller medallion on top of the larger one, quite affective don’t you think? The size of the larger one would be too big for a card but great for a scrapbook page. Well that’s all I have for you this time. I have made more cards, three today, but you will just have to come back another day to catch those. Cheers for now.
Well, two cards for you this week. Been busy trying to sort out our, yes I did mean our craft area, because my partner is now also making cards and scrapbooking with me!
These two cards were made by me. And now I have writer’s block:) No, found some words afterall. One card was made for a teabag folding group as a swap and the other, well just for the fun of it. I have a lot of assorted patterned papers, and because they are double sided, when use some for a small project, then looked at the other side and think “I could make a card with that”. The only time I follow a template is when I attend workshops held by other demonstrators/consultants.
The “Raining Cats and dogs” paper we bought in Ballarat, Vic. I think, the last time we were there probably about 2-3 years ago. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the designer. The lavender or violets paper used as background on the second card is one from the Creative Memories “Fresh Picks” pack which arrived a couple of weeks ago, you can check out the pack on my website: https://www.creativememoriesau.com/user/cmAdvisorLolaRadnoti
Both cards have teabag fold medallions and the same flower punch, the second card has been distressed with Ranger (Tim Holtz) ink “Wilted violet”.
Hi there, just a quick post tonight. Thank you to all who commented on Facebook or via email on my previous two cards this week. Here is installment 3, just playing with ideas this time not really any specific theme. Hope you like it. Cheerio for now. See you tomorrow.
Hello folks, those of you who are trying to follow me have probably thought I’d given up but it’s just that I have been busy with work, trying to sort out things for my elderly cantankerous mother, and tried to have a bit of a holiday. So all in all I haven’t really felt like doing much on the computer – been too tired! I know… I’m supposed to put something up here regularly but when all you can write is complaints, what’s the point. No-one likes to read all that gunph(sp?).
Therefore, I decided to leave things until I could show you some interesting things such as photos of where we went on holiday – not many and may not interest a lot of you – also some cards I have been making over the last few weeks. Enough. I think you get the gist. Cheers for now and thank you for reading/following.
Just wanted to share some cards I received over the past few weeks. The first has a tea-bag folded medallion with a “stained glass window” behind. The other is an ATC with the theme of Favourite – Food – pears. Another – Hat and Shoes and another was a Gold and Glitter card challenge through the Michael Strong Stamps Group showing Mike’s Crane stamps – check out his site for these great stamps http://www.strongstamps.com/index.htm. Enjoy!
