I promised that I would show you the first three cards of my week as Card Captain last week so here they are. These were made while on holidays in Coffs Harbour earlier this year. The order is Wednesday – Just a little NOTE; Tuesday – Be YOU; Monday – blue and white snowflakes. They are my own designs and not part of any swaps or challenges. So, enjoy and thank you for visiting.
This time I am posting about the new Rotary Blade 12″ trimmer from Kaszazz, much better than their “ordinary” fixed blade trimmer. I ordered the new rotary blade trimmer because the fixed blade trimmer was just not cutting properly, leaving very rough edges. Even with a new blade the fixed blade trimmer only worked cleanly for a few cuts before, you guessed it, rough edges again. Now, with the new rotary blade trimmer I can be confident that when I cut my paper it will be neat, accurate and usable for my projects.
I love the stamps and papers from Kaszazz which together with CM products gives me a world of choice for my projects. The styles are very different and yet they are both beautiful. The main difference is, that people who don’t want to spend on buying stamps and inks for their scrapbooking but still want to “dress up” their scrapbooking, the CM pre-made flowers, stickers and die cuts, make beautiful, quick and easy pages.
Back to topic – the Rotary Blade Trimmer cuts clean and accurate and you can order by private messaging me on Facebook. The Trimmer has a choice of three cuts – curved, straight and perforated. Also available are replacement blades and cutting rubber mat. Now see the trimmer in action in this video which will explain how to use the different styles of cutting and the replacements available and how to attach them when needed.
Well, that’s really it from me today. Enjoy looking at the product and thanks for reading. Cheers, Lola.
Where has the time gone, it only seems like yesterday, oh, alright a couple of days ago since my last post but it was actually 12 days ago! I must have been having fun??
Well, I have been busy working and trying to learn how blogs etc work so I can make life a bit easier when doing my blog posts. Ha, ha, as a friend would say, with computers nothing is easy.
But stop, I am not here to discuss the pros and cons of computers, I am here to show you some the flyers for Creative Memories new “stuff” for June. Yes, I know this is the second week of June but we only got back from holidays at the beginning of last week, and needed to get organised (that’ll be the day:)) before going back to work. I started to write this post for you last Friday – well, you know how far that got – turned the computer on that’s it.
Now to the point of this post, showing new products and information about them, and perhaps a card at the end.
Let’s start with the new products flyers, some lovely paper packs, punches and border makers. A couple of bundles which will only be available for a short time – i.e. Limited editions, namely the Americana Bundle and the Celebrate Canadian. The “Adventure” paper packs look great for showing off your adventures and I hope to get some of our recent adventures “scrapped” and uploaded for you in the weeks to come using the digital versions. You can also checkout my website or CM Blog.
The card show the Daisy Punch now no longer available, but the Doily and the new Adventure punch are available, so get in quick before it’s gone. You know where you can do that, at my website.
Well, two cards for you this week. Been busy trying to sort out our, yes I did mean our craft area, because my partner is now also making cards and scrapbooking with me!
These two cards were made by me. And now I have writer’s block:) No, found some words afterall. One card was made for a teabag folding group as a swap and the other, well just for the fun of it. I have a lot of assorted patterned papers, and because they are double sided, when use some for a small project, then looked at the other side and think “I could make a card with that”. The only time I follow a template is when I attend workshops held by other demonstrators/consultants.
The “Raining Cats and dogs” paper we bought in Ballarat, Vic. I think, the last time we were there probably about 2-3 years ago. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the designer. The lavender or violets paper used as background on the second card is one from the Creative Memories “Fresh Picks” pack which arrived a couple of weeks ago, you can check out the pack on my website: https://www.creativememoriesau.com/user/cmAdvisorLolaRadnoti
Both cards have teabag fold medallions and the same flower punch, the second card has been distressed with Ranger (Tim Holtz) ink “Wilted violet”.
Hello all, here is my last contribution for 2016, I hope you have enjoyed my cards this week and got some inspiration from them. I am happy to answer any questions about my cards and happy to assist anyone.
Have a wonderful Christmas one and all, may our American members of the Michael Strong Group, not freeze too much, our Southern Hemisphere members stay cool.
All the best for a much happier, healthier, and safer 2017. Cheers.
