Well, two weeks and a lot has happened. Went to Camden and had a great workshop on Friday night, where I completed a 2-page layout, minus a few small embellishments which were added on Sunday night. My partner came along as well, but he was making use of some of the border maker punches which we don’t have yet, as you do! So, here are the two pages I completed:
The layout and papers are from last year’s Croptoberfest. I didn’t participate last year but purchased the kit because I liked the papers, our hostess on Friday didn’t have anything specific for us so we worked on our own projects and this was mine. I still have another 3 layouts to complete for that kit and I have Croptoberfest 2017 coming up in a months time.
So while I’m here I might as well give Croptoberfest 2017 a plug, as I will be holding one, in Australia of course. CM Advisors in the US will also be holding Croptoberfest events so if you’re interested, go to the website (this is in Australia) but once there you can change to USA or whichever relevant. For those in Australia, you can check for an event near you here, not sure where the American list is located, sorry.
The next event I participated in was the Virtual Crop, on Sunday, 17th September. What is a Virtual Crop you ask, well, you are given a template to follow shown on the CM Blog and for each challenge you have 2 hours to complete and upload to the relevant FB page and of course you can’t be too pedantic which was my downfall for the first challenge but I learnt quick and the rest of the day went much better and I even won a prize. Hard work, tiring and certainly got your brain working quickly but also fun.
So with all that as well as my normal card making, I’ve had a busy couple of weeks. You may or may not have seen my Virtual Crop contributions but for now, I will just show my winning card. I will show the layouts from the Virtual Crop later. Until next time. Thank you for visiting.
