More flip cards for you…

Hello,

Today’s post started out as just a short post to give you my friend Laura’s take on the Flip Card I shared with you on Thursday – technique day.  Laura is a friend from the Michael Strong Yahoo Group, and together with her friend Lynette, they made their own versions.  You will have to go onto Laura’s blog https://holmadelaura.blogspot.com.au to check out their versions and more information.  I was delighted to see someone else give it a go, I love both their cards and I particularly love the hibiscus stamp on Lynette’s.

I would also like to thank Laura for referring back to my blog and the information I provided for Technique Thursday.

Laura and Lynette live in America, but in 2014 Laura and husband, Don came to Australia and I was pleasantly surprised when they made the effort to come and visit us.  We live off the beaten tourist track unless you go skiing in the winter or possible bushwalking in the summer.  Most people visit the capital cities and don’t even make it to the National Capital – Canberra – about 110kms from us.  But Laura and Don came down and spent the day with us, and we really packed a lot into that day.  We met them in the morning, had coffee and then took a day trip to Thredbo, did some walking around, and after lunch made our way back to finish the day at one of the popular hotel bistros for dinner.  It was a fun day and I only wish we’d had more time together.  This is just by way of background as to our ‘connection’ and how friendships can start online and develop into genuine friendship.

Anyway, go to Laura’s blog and see all the lovely work she has been doing and also give Laura and Lynette feedback on their lovely cards.  Thank you for visiting and I’ll be back with more later.
